Michel Ghazal
Founder of the "Centre Européen de la Négociation",
"Mediators beyond frontiers" and "Dialogue Mediation",
Michel Ghazal works in three main fields : training, consulting and
mediation. PhD in Business Administration, BA in Economics and Law,
he is a negotiation process and conflict management consultant.
Since 1984, several thousand managers and professional negotiators
in France and Europe have followed his seminars and conferences
on "Mutual Gains Strategy".
Michel Ghazal has acted as consultant for several Boards of Directors
in a large variety of business sectors helping to develop their
negotiation strategies at hierarchical, business and social levels.
He worked as mediator in Merger and Acquisition operations and
in Commercial and Labor-Management disputes.
He acts as a fellow at the Conflict Management Group, the organization
created by Roger Fisher, committed to the promotion of peace in
the hot spots of the world.
He wrote his doctoral thesis on the subject of "Business Negotiations".
He is also the author of " Mange ta soupe et ... tais-toi !
" (Eat your soup and shut up ! ) which has been translated
in 9 languages.
He is the co-author of "Circulez y a rien à... négocier
!" ( Move on, there is nothing to ... negotiate ! ) a case
study of the management of the December 1995 social conflict in
France. His last book "Si c'était à refaire !"
was published in June 2004.
He also acted as editor and consultant for the French translations
of "Getting to Yes", "Getting Together", "Getting
past No" and "Difficult conversations".
