Jérôme Racine created a negotiation process consulting practice in 1997 and later on, in 2006, a company offering negotiation management services to its clients: Sumbiosis LLC.
Having worked from time to time with the European Negotiation Center (ENC) as an independent trainer since 2002, he became a regular member of its team in 2009. At the same time, Sumbiosis and ENC entered into a partnership agreement in order to reinforce the presence of ENC in Germany and Switzerland most particularly.
Previously, after studying law (in Lausanne, Switzerland, and Saarbrücken, Germany), Jérôme had first worked as a legal counsel in the public service in Switzerland. He later joined F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd., taking up a wide range of managerial positions - first in the pharmaceutical and then in the diagnostics business - in the fields of strategic planning and marketing at the group headquarters as well as in Brazil, France and the United States.
As General Manager of a newly created high-tech business unit (Roche Image Analysis Systems Inc.), he developed its foundations in Europe, the US and in Japan, renegotiated previous cooperation agreements in order to secure full product and technology ownership, negotiated several new industrial partnership agreements (R&D, OEM, sales and marketing), and prepared a spin-off from the Roche Group with the involvement of two venture capital groups.
Jérôme lead negotiation training courses for SMEs and large multinational companies in French, German, English and Portuguese. Over the past years, he has worked as a trainer in Europe, China, Dubai, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Singapore with participants of more than 20 different nationalities. |
